The University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB) has officially announced that its 15th Graduation Ceremony will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the university's Main Campus in Byumba Sector, Gicumbi District. The announcement was made through an official communiqué issued by the Office of the Vice Chancellor, inviting graduates, their families, academic staff, stakeholders, and members of the public to participate in the milestone event.
According to the announcement signed by Fr. Dr. Gilbert Munana,The Vice Chancellor of UTAB, the 15th graduation ceremony will celebrate the academic achievements of students who have successfully completed their studies and recognize their transition into professional careers. The university described the event as an important occasion that honors years of dedication, hard work, and commitment by the graduating class.
UTAB has extended a warm invitation to graduates, parents, friends, faculty members, alumni, development partners, and distinguished guests to join the celebration. Founded in 2006, the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba is one of Rwanda's accredited private higher learning institutions. Located in Gicumbi District in the Northern Province, UTAB offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fields including education, information technology, business, health sciences, agriculture, environmental studies, and social sciences.
