Vanessa Trump has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, sharing the news publicly in an emotional statement on social media.
The former wife of Donald Trump Jr. announced on Instagram that she is currently working with doctors on a treatment plan after recently undergoing a medical procedure.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” Vanessa Trump wrote in her statement. She added that she remains optimistic as she begins the next stage of her recovery journey.
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she said. “Thank you for your kindness and support — it truly means more than I can express.” Vanessa Trump also requested privacy while focusing on her health and recovery.
The announcement quickly drew support online from followers and public figures, with many sending messages of encouragement to the mother of five.
Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years before the couple divorced in 2018. Together, they share five children, including Kai Trump, who has recently gained major attention on social media and has frequently appeared alongside her grandfather, Donald Trump, during public events and visits to the White House.
Breast cancer remains one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among women worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, early detection and improved treatment continue to significantly increase survival rates for many patients.
