Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly facing growing uncertainty over his place in England’s World Cup squad, after a difficult selection period under national team coach Thomas Tuchel, who is preparing to finalize his 26-man tournament list. The situation has raised concern for the Real Madrid full-back, who now risks missing world cup.

According to multiple reports, Alexander-Arnold is deeply disappointed by the possibility of being left out, especially as he believes his performances improved steadily throughout the season. After adapting to a new environment at Real Madrid, the defender feels he gradually regained form, contributing more consistently in both defensive duties and attacking build-up play during the final stages of the campaign.

However, despite his progress, sources suggest that Tuchel’s tactical preferences and selection criteria have not worked in his favour. The England manager is believed to value defensive stability and specific positional profiles, which has made competition for the right-back role extremely intense. This has left Alexander-Arnold competing with other options who may better fit the manager’s system.

Reports also indicate that the player has come to accept the possibility that his exclusion may not be purely performance-based. Instead, there is a growing belief within his camp that Tuchel may simply prefer other players for tactical or personal reasons, a situation that has added frustration to an already difficult period.

He is not only super star player who missed In list because other players like Cole Palmer, Harry Maguire , Adam Wharton and Phil Foden  left in squard.
