Several Ticket Categories for King James’ 20-Year Anniversary Concert Sold Out

Tickets for the upcoming concert celebrating 20 years of King James’ music career are selling rapidly, with several categories already sold out just days after they were released to the public. The highly anticipated event, dubbed “20 Years of King James,” is scheduled to take place on August 1, 2026, at BK Arena.

According to the ticketing platform, some categories have already been fully booked, including the wheelchair-access section and the “Blue” category tickets priced at RWF25,000.

Other sections are also nearing full capacity. VIP tickets priced at RWF60,000 reportedly have fewer than 100 seats remaining, while limited tickets are left in the “Green” category costing RWF35,000. Regular tickets priced at RWF15,000 are also running low.

Premium packages, however, are not displayed on the public ticketing system. These include exclusive front-stage tables valued at RWF2 million each, with only 18 tables available, as well as private “Suites” packages priced at RWF3.5 million.

King James began his music career in 2006 and rose to national fame in 2008 following the release of his breakthrough song “Intinyi.”

He released his debut album “Umugisha” in 2010, followed by a second album, “Umuvandimwe,” which was launched at the University of Rwanda campus in Huye.

In 2014, after a relatively quiet period, the singer returned with his third album, “Ntibisanzwe,” which he famously launched in Musanze after arriving by helicopter.

In recent years, this Rwandan star artist has maintained a lower public profile in the music industry, but this year, he showed signs of rising again on the top  with his latest released song “Ndi Uwawe,” which came out last month.
